The house has a sitting room, a laundry, and extensive, well maintained gardens for residents' use.
Residents furnish their own rooms and are responsible for their cleaning. If required, help with cleaning and laundry can be provided at an extra cost.
Residents are encouraged to lead as independent a life as possible and to continue to be part of the local community. They are able to come and go as they please.
A resident House Manager ensures that the house is comfortable and safe, and prepares lunch and an evening meal which is served in the dining room. Provisions are provided for residents to prepare breakfast in their own rooms.
Fees include payment for food; council tax; water charges; heat and light; cleaning of communal facilities; repairs and decorations.
All rooms overlook the canal and have en-suite shower, hand basin and WC. There is a lift to the first floor.
The rooms have an alarm call system, television & telephone sockets, and a small fridge.
